SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA (February 11, 2017) – According to the San Bernardino Police Department, two people were killed on Saturday afternoon in a single-vehicle collision on H Street and 9th Street. (map)

The SBPD reported that witnesses saw a car traveling at a high rate of speed on 9th Street, lost control and collided with a traffic signal pole around 1:00 p.m.

The SBPD stated that the two occupants in the car were pronounced dead at the scene. One person may have been ejected from the vehicle while the other occupant was extricated from the car. Police are still investigating the crash.
