SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA (June 5, 2017) – At least one person was killed after a collision on Monday morning on the 215 Freeway, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 4:30 am on the northbound side of the 215 Freeway near Fifth Street. Up to six vehicles were involved in a collision for an unknown reason, and at least one of the vehicles caught on fire after the accident.
The California Highway Patrol’s report confirmed at least one person suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, and emergency medical services responded as well. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
