SALINAS, CALIFORNIA (March 13, 2017) – At least one person sustained serious injuries in a three car accident on State Route 68 on Monday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 9:00 am on the westbound side of State Route 68, near Portola Road. A red Toyota Tundra, a black Honda Civic, and a third unidentified vehicle were involved in a collision for unknown reasons. The Honda sustained major rear end damage and the truck sustained major front end damage in the accident.
At least one person was badly injured in the accident, and an ambulance responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
