SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (April 11, 2017) – A semi-truck was involved in an accident on State Route 99 on Tuesday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 10:21 am on the northbound side of State Route 99 near 12th Avenue. A semi truck was reportedly involved in an accident where it veered off the road for an unknown reason and struck several trees before overturning. Another vehicle may also have been involved in the collision.
At least one person sustained injuries in the accident, and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability.
