“Two Vehicles Involved”
SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (February 16, 2017) – Two vehicles were involved in a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Richards Boulevard and Seventh Street on Thursday evening, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 7:26 p.m., when a pedestrian, identified only as a male, was struck by two vehicles. The first vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene while the second fled immediately after the accident. The pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries, but he tragically succumbed to his injuries and died.
The accident remains under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability, and to locate the second involved driver.
