SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (January 1, 2017) – A pedestrian was killed on Sunday morning at the intersection of Rio Linda Boulevard and Alamos Avenue, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened just after midnight, around 12:30 am, at the intersection of Rio Linda Boulevard and Alamos Avenue. A pedestrian was struck by a car believed to be a white SUV or pickup, which immediately fled the scene.
The pedestrian, identified only as a male, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
