SPD spokesperson Linda Matthew reported that the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Norwood Avenue around 8:30 p.m., when another vehicle turned onto Norwood Avenue from South Avenue and collided with the motorcyclist.
Spokesperson Matthew stated that the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The other motorist, a female, was transported to a hospital with moderate injuries.
“Motorists must be aware of motorcyclists on the road at all time. They may not always appear in rear view mirrors and often end up in blind spots causing drivers to completely miss them, creating potential for a possible accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a California motorcycle accident and injury law firm.
