SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (February 7, 2017) – According to the California Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Fernando Bravo Maya and another woman was killed on Tuesday in a wrong-way collision on Interstate 80 near Northgate Boulevard. (map)
The CHP reported that a dark Ford Mustang, driven by the wrong-way driver, was traveling westbound on the eastbound lanes around 10:00 p.m. when she crashed head-on into a Dodge Challenger at Watt Avenue. The woman’s car sideswiped a another car near Raley Boulevard and continued on.
The CHP stated that the identity of the wrong-way driver has not been released.
