SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (February 2, 2017) – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on Wednesday evening at the intersection of Silver Eagle Road and Norwood Avenue, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 8:30 pm at the intersection of Norwood Avenue and Silver Eagle Road. A motorcyclist was turning onto Norwood Avenue from Silver Eagle Road when they crashed into the driver’s side of a car.

The motorcyclist, identified only as a 35 year old Sacramento resident, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The condition of the driver of the vehicle is unknown, but the accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.

“Police will need to undergo a thorough investigation to determine what caused the accident. Many motorcycle accidents are typically the fault of the driver,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm.
