Rosemary Brill, 77, Killed in Traffic Collision on Bear Valley and Deep Creek Roads

“Three Died in Collision”

APPLE VALLEY, CALIFORNIA (July 30, 2017) – 77-year-old Rosemary Brill was a passenger involved in a vehicle collision at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Deep Creek Road Sunday afternoon, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office and Sheriff’s Department. (map)

The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 p.m Brill was a passenger in a 2013 Honda Civic driven by 63-year-old Alan Brill. The Civic attempted to turn west on bear Valley Road from northbound Deep Creek Road, when the driver of a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, later identified as 57-year-old Carmine Combs, ran a red light and struck the Civic.

Both Alan and Rosemary Brill wee pronounced dead at the scene. Combs sustained life-threatening injuries. and was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where he later died.

An investigation is ongoing to determine if drugs or alcohol played a part in the collision.
