THOUSAND OAKS, CALIFORNIA (March 6, 2017) – The man killed in a February 21st pedestrian accident on the 101 Freeway has been identified as Rogelio Razo Paredes, according to a local news source. (map)
Authorities first responded to the scene around 7:15 a.m., on the 101 Freeway near Rancho Road. A report came in of something lying on the center divider, and responding officers found 68 year old Rogelio Razo Paredes in the center divider, who had been hit by a vehicle.
Rogelio Paredes was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries. The vehicle that struck him, identified as a 1997-2001 Toyota Camry, did not remain at the scene. Authorities are still on the lookout for the hit and run driver, and anyone with information is asked to contact the CHP to aid in their ongoing investigation.
