ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS (December 4 , 2017) – A small plane carrying a dentist and three family members crashed on Monday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 6:00 pm, at the Rockford International Airport. A Beechcraft King Air C90 with four people on board was reportedly landing when it crashed about 200 yards east of the runway for an unknown reason.
The pilot and owner of the plane, Dr. Edward B. Noakes III and two of his daughters sustained injuries in the accident, and were hospitalized. Another family member was also hospitalized in critical condition, and their identity has not been released.
The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability. In January a C90GT crashed in Rio De Janeiro, killing five people on board. In April A C90 crashed at the Chicago Executive Airport, but luckily nobody on board was injured.
