RIVERSIDE: Semi Truck Driver Hospitalized after Collision with Big Rig on Highway 60 at Market Street

“Two Big-Rigs Collide”

RIVERSIDE, CA (May 3, 2017) – A Dick’s Sporting Goods semi-truck driver was seriously injured and required hospitalization after a collision occurred between the driver of the semi-truck and a UPS big-rig on Highway 60 west of Market Street, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)

The crash occurred at around 1:10 a.m. on the eastbound side of the highway. The Dick’s Sporting Goods semi-truck was rear-ended by the UPS semi-truck. One of the truck drivers was seriously injured and immediately transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center by paramedics.

The crash also caused the UPS truck to spill oil and fluids across the highway lanes. An investigation is ongoing to determine the caused of the accident.
