Pedestrian died in car accident on Rubidoux and Mission boulevards
RIVERSIDE: Pedestrian Killed in Vehicle Collision at Rubidoux and Mission Boulevards

RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (July 4, 2017) – A pedestrian was involved in a vehicle collision at Rubidoux and Mission boulevards late Tuesday evening, according to a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department news report. (map)

The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. at Rubidoux and Mission Boulevards. The pedestrian sustained major injuries. Rescue crews arrived at the scene to treat the pedestrian where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to Deputy Armando Munoz.

The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with law officials. Police officials do not believe that drugs and alcohol were factors in the collision.
