RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (April 04, 2017) – California Highway Patrol reported one person sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon on the westbound 91 Freeway, east of Tyler Street. (map)
The crash occurred at about 1:14 p.m. The CHP report stated that there were at least five vehicles involved in the crash including two black sedans, a gray sedan, a Mercedes Benz, and a van. It is not certain if all these vehicles were involved in the crash, but they were all pulled over to the side of the highway following the accident.
An ambulance was called to the scene of the crash to tend to the injured victim. The investigation is ongoing in order to determine cause and liability.
