“Motorcycle vs. Vehicle Collision”
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (February 28, 2017) – A motorcyclist was involved in a vehicle crash on the 91 freeway near Tyler Street Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The incident occurred at approximately 4:14 p.m., The driver of a Chevrolet sedan made a lane change and collided into the motorcyclist in the HOV lane of the 91 Freeway just east of Tyler Street. The impact of the collision caused the motorcyclist to fall to the ground.
A CHP report stated the motorcyclist was unresponsive and was seen moving his arm. Rescue crews were called to the scene to treat the victims involved in the collision. No other information about the motorcyclist condition has been released.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
