Erasto Gomez Arrested After Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision

RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (December 9, 2016) – A 19-year-old woman from Moreno Valley was killed in a tragic crash in Riverside on Friday, reported KTLA. (map)

The deadly accident occurred at about 5:50 a.m. Friday morning at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Tyler Street.

Linda Rodriguez, 19, was on her way to work when she entered the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Tyler Street was struck by a full-sized van that had apparently run a red light.

Tragically, Linda Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Erasto Gomez, 59, was arrested on suspicion of hit-and run causing serious injury or death and manslaughter.

The investigation of this deadly crash is ongoing.
