“Several Injured in Truck Collision”
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (March 15, 2017) – A truck and vehicle collision occurred on Wednesday morning near the March Air Reserve Base in Riverside, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m. A Nissan Titan traveling northbound on Meridian Parkway and a box truck traveling westbound on Opportunity Way crashed, according to California Highway Patrol. Rescue crews had to extricate two people from the vehicles.
Two people sustained major injuries, two others sustained moderate injuries and one person sustained minor injuries.An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause and liability of the accident.
