RIPON, CALIFORNIA (January 18, 2017) – A semi-truck accident on Highway 99 near Jack Tone Road injured one person on Wednesday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 9:33 pm at the intersection of Highway 99 and Jack Tone Road. A semi truck hauling rain water struck a car, causing it to spin out across lanes, through a fence, and landed on Frontage Road.

At least one person inside the car was injured in the accident, and their current condition is unknown. The truck driver reportedly sustained no injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
