RICHMOND: School Bus Involved in Accident on Broad Rock Boulevard and Walmsley Boulevard

“School Bus Crash”

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (February 27, 2017) – A school bus was involved in an accident on Monday morning at the intersection of Broad Rock Boulevard and Walmsley Boulevard, according to a local news source. (map)

A school bus carrying two children and a driver was struck by a tan vehicle that reportedly made a right turn, crossed over the median, and hit the bus which was sitting at a red light. Nobody on the bus suffered serious injuries, however the exact condition of those involved is unknown.

The impact was enough to leave part of the school bus on top of the car, which was severely damaged. Initial reports indicate the driver of the vehicle may face charges. The investigation is ongoing into the accident at this time.

“Parties injured are strongly advised to go to a nearby medical center following a traffic collision if one denies emergency assistance. It can sometimes take several days after the initial collision for pains to set in so it’s recommended to get checked out. All injured drivers and passengers are subject to a claim against the negligent motorist responsible,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a car accident and personal injury law firm.
