“Car Catches Fire”
RICHMOND, CALIFORNIA (February 5, 2017) – A car involved in a collision with another vehicle on the 80 Freeway on Sunday evening caught on fire, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 11:23 pm at the intersection of the westbound 80 Freeway and San Pablo Avenue. A white car heading westbound lost control and crashed into a Nissan Altima. The impact caused one of the vehicles to catch on fire.
At least one person reported injuries after the accident and paramedics responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
