
CHP Investigating Traffic Collision
RICHMOND, CALIFORNIA (December 15, 2016) – The California Highway Patrol reported injuries in a 2-vehicle accident on the eastbound 80 Freeway at Carlson Boulevard on Thursday afternoon. (map)
According to the CHP report, the crash occurred at about 2:17 p.m. and involved a blue Toyota Corolla and an unknown vehicle on the 80 Freeway near Carlson Boulevard.
Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene to assist any injured victims. The number of people injured was not disclosed in the report. The paramedics determined the nature of the injuries were non-life threatening.
The blue Toyota Corolla sustained moderate front-end damage which caused the airbags to deploy.
