ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA (July 9, 2017) – 51-year-old Richard Arguelles was involved in a deadly crash late Sunday evening on I-5 Freeway near the Lincoln Avenue off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. Arguelles was traveling in the southbound lanes of interstate 5 when the Nissan Sentra he was driving veered to the left and collided in the impact barrels causing the Sentra to overturn, according to CHP.
Arguelles died due to the collision. Another occupant in the vehicle was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
