REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA (April 19, 2017) – Two cars were involved in a collision on the northbound side of Interstate 280 on Wednesday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 12:17 pm on the northbound side of Interstate 280 near Edgewood Road. A red car, and a gray SUV described as a Toyota RAV4 were involved in a collision for an unknown reason.
At least one person sustained injuries and an ambulance responded to the scene to tend to those injured in the accident. The accident remains under active investigation to determine cause and liability.
