“FedEx Truck vs. SUV Crash”
RED BLUFF, CALIFORNIA (February 22, 2017) – A FedEx delivery truck and SUV were involved in a collision Wednesday morning on Diamond Avenue at the Interstate 5 on-ramp, according to the Red Bluff Police Department. (map)
The crash occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. A FedEx Truck traveling northwest on Diamond Avenue attempted to pass the interstate 5 on-ramp, when the driver of an SUV turned directly in front of the FedEx truck which resulted in a collision, according to Red Bluff Police Sgt Kevin Busekist.
The driver of the FedEx Truck and the SUV sustained minor injuries and refused further medical treatment from rescue officials. The on-ramp was closed and traffic was rerouted as Caltrans inspect the damaged guardrail and remove the FedEx Truck which had landed on the guardrail.
