RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA (March 8, 2017) – At least one person was injured in a car accident on Interstate 10 on Wednesday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 8:38 a.m. on the westbound side of Interstate 10 near Monte Vista Avenue. A blue Hyundai Sonata was rear ended by a white Ford Ranger pickup truck for an unknown reason. The impact was enough to render the Sonata unable to drive.
An ambulance responded to the scene after the driver of the Hyundai reported pain in their shoulder and head. At least one person was transported to Doctors Hospital in Montclair with injuries described as minor. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
