RANCHO CUCAMONGA: Two Vehicles Collide on 15 Freeway, Catching Fire

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA – Two vehicles collided on the northbound 15 Freeway, south of Foothill Boulevard, causing one vehicle to ignite into flames. The crash occurred at around 2:40 p.m. yesterday afternoon.

According to CHP reports, the crash was between a white SUV and an unknown vehicle. The manner of the crash is unclear, as well as liability. Fire and emergency crews arrived at the scene in order to attend to possibly injured victims.

Fire crews were able to quickly manage the fire. Injured motorists were taken out of their vehicles and treated nearby by paramedics. The number 1,2,and 3 lanes remained blocked while the accident was cleared. The case remains under investigation and it is uncertain if alcohol or drugs played a role.

“Police will gather evidence and conduct interviews with the drivers and witnesses to determine liability” said an attorney from Lexton Law Firm  “Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident.”
