QUINCY, CALIFORNIA (January 3, 2017) – At least one person was injured in an accident on Tuesday night on Highway 70, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 7:45 pm at the intersection of Highway 70 and Butterfly Valley Twain Road. A pickup truck described as an older model Chevrolet careened off the road and down an embankment for unknown reasons, crashing into water.
Paramedics immediately responded to the scene and rushed at least one injured party to Plumas District Hospital with injuries to their head. The condition of the injured party is not known at this time. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
