COMMERCE, CALIFORNIA (March 14, 2017) – Quanlinh Phillips has been identified as one of the three people killed in an accident on Interstate 5 on Tuesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 5:20 am on the northbound side of Interstate 5. A 2015 Mini Cooper driven by 29 year old John Perez entered the northbound lanes driving southbound, and crashed head on into a 1998 Ford Econoline 350 van driven by 53 year old Quanlinh Phillips.
Quanlinh Phillips was tragically declared dead at the scene. Her passenger, identified only as a male, was also pronounced dead in the accident. The drive of the mini cooper, John Perez, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
