The accident happened around 6:44 p.m. at the intersection of Mission Street and Ney Street. 50 year old Qiu Liang was crossing the street when she was struck by a car of unidentified make and model.

Qiu Liang was rushed to a hospital, but she tragically succumbed to her injuries and died a short time later. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
