“Investigation Ongoing”

POWAY, CALIFORNIA (August 30, 2017) – Two people were injured in a head on collision late Wednesday evening on State Route 67, according to a local news source. (map)

A 19 year old man from Ramona was operating a Ford F-250 pickup truck on State Route 67 near Cloudy Moon Drive around 10:20 pm. For an unknown reason, he crossed the center line and collided head on with a Hyundai Sonata driven by a 33 year old woman.

The woman, identified only as a 33 year old from El Cajon, was airlifted to Palomar Hospital. The 19 year old driver of the pickup truck was taken to the same hospital, via ambulance. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.

“Police will gather evidence and conduct interviews with the drivers and witnesses to determine liability” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident.”
