“DUI Collision”
POWAY, CALIFORNIA (April 10, 2017) – Two vehicles were involved in a DUI collision on Pomerado Road near Glenoak Road early Monday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The crash occurred at approximately 1:00 a.m. when a 35-year-old driver of a BMW coupe, traveling at a high rate of speed, collided with a Honda Civic on northbound Pomerado Road near Glenoak Road, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. David Toner.
The rear-end collision caused both motorists to lose control. The BMW knocked down a street light and hit a tree. The driver of the Honda sustained non-life threatening injuries. the driver of the BMW sustained no injuries. The driver of the BMW, whose name have not yet been released, was arrested on suspicion felony DUI.
