PORTLAND, OREGON (December 1, 2017) – A pedestrian was hit by a train and killed on Friday morning in Portland near 17th Avenue and McLoughlin Boulevard, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 6:13 am near Southeast 17th Avenue and McLoughlin Boulevard. A man was reportedly found on the tracks by MAX train operators, and initial reports show he may have been struck by several trains.
