“Three-vehicle accident”
PORTERVILLE, CALIFORNIA (December 10, 2016) – According to the California Highway Patrol, five people were injured on Saturday in a three-vehicle collision on Highway 190 near Highway 168. (map)
The CHP reported that Jesus Diaz Santoyo, 34, was traveling eastbound on Highway 190 when he was hit by a car, driven by 28-year-old Araseli Barajas, as he was slowing down to make a left. Santoyo’s vehicle was pushed into the path of a Honda, driven by Armando Garcia, 47, from the impact.
The CHP states that Santoyo and a passenger from the Honda, Jesus Fernandez, 32, sustained major injuries. Five people were hospitalized with Barajas was unharmed.
