PISMO BEACH, CALIFORNIA (APRIL 11, 2017) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision Tuesday evening on Highway 101 and the Price Street on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident took place at approximately 6:40 p.m. when a Toyota Highlander struck an unknown vehicle partially blocking the first lane on the southbound section of Highway 101 and Price Street north of Shell Beach Road, according to the CHP report.
Injuries ensued as a result of the collision. However, the severity of the injuries from the victims involved in the collision were not released. The impact front -end damage of one vehicle and rear-end damage to the other vehicle.
The number of victims involved in the collision were not immediately available. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene to aid in the medical treatment. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision
