PICACHO, ARIZONA (February 14, 2017) – Two people were seriously injured in a car accident on Tuesday morning on Interstate 10 Frontage road, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. on the westbound side of the Interstate 10 Frontage Road, around milepost 216. A silver sedan and a second unidentified car were involved in a head on collision, causing at least one person to be trapped inside the car. Two people were critically injured and were airlifted to nearby trauma centers for treatment.
The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
