“Investigation Ongoing”

The first accident happened on Saturday when a teenager heading to the Made in America festival was grazed by an Amtrak in Malvern. The second accident was on Sunday, when a pedestrian was struck at the Merion station. Then finally, around 7:30 pm on Sunday, a New York bound train struck a pedestrian at the Torresdale Station.

The pedestrian struck at Torresdale Station reportedly was killed as a result of the accident. The other two sustained minor to moderate injuries. The accidents all remain under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
