OROVILLE, CALIFORNIA (March 19, 2017) – Peter Anderson has been identified as the semi-truck driver killed in an accident on Highway 70 on Sunday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 7:20 am on Highway 70 near Power House Hill Road. A semi-truck hauling concrete was on his way to the Oroville dam when he crashed for an unknown reason and his semi truck rolled over, trapping the driver inside.
Peter Anderson, a 51 year old resident of Marysville, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by responding emergency medical personnel. The accident remains under investigation, as they attempt to determine what caused the truck to crash.
