PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA (February 10, 2017) – A two-vehicle crash occurred on Friday afternoon, at the intersection of Lakeville Highway and Old Lakeville Road. (map)
California Highway patrol reported the accident at about 2:55 p.m. A white pickup truck illegally crossed over some lanes and crashed into a silver Nissan Versa. The force of the impact sent the Nissan down into a ditch, before smashing into a pole. A Toyota Prius and a Ford Expedition were also seen at the crash site but it remains unclear whether either vehicle played a part in the crash.
One party sustained injures and was transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital. The type and severity of the injuries has not been readily made known. An investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
