The accident happened around 3:52 pm on Highway 101 near San Antonio Road. A silver SUV overturned after being involved in a collision, reportedly with a white Range Rover. The impact caused the silver SUV to land on the right shoulder.

Two people inside the silver SUV managed to get out of the car, but reportedly were injured and disoriented from the accident. The involved white Range Rover reportedly fled the scene immediately after the accident, and authorities are attempting to locate the vehicle as well as determine what caused the accident.

“A motorist injured at the hands of a hit-and-run driver is subject to a bodily injury claim against the negligent parties insurance, assuming they have insurance once the driver is caught. If the negligent party does not carry auto insurance, injured parties will still have a claim if the motorist carries uninsured motorist coverage on their vehicle also known as UM,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm.
