RIVERDALE, UTAH (July 26, 2017) – Perry and Sarah Huffaker were tragically confirmed to have been two of the four victims killed in a plane crash on a Utah highway on Wednesday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 12:45 pm. The plane, carrying Perry and Sarah Huffaker, as well as Layne and Diana Clarke, took off from a nearby airport. Less than a minute after takeoff, the plane began experiencing problems and crash landed onto Interstate 15 in Riverdale, narrowly missing cars on the highway.
45 year old Perry Huffaker and his 42 year old wife Diana Huffaker were both tragically killed in the accident. Diana Clarke and her husband, pilot Layne Clarke, were also killed. The cause of the plane’s crash is under active investigation by the FAA and the NTSB, and Layne Clarke was described as an experienced pilot by friends and family.
