PERRIS, CALIFORNIA (February 26, 2017) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision which resulted in both vehicles overturning on Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 6:03 p.m. A blue Ford and a white Chevrolet Silverado collided with each other causing both vehicles to overturn and block lanes of the 215 Freeway, according to CHP Officials. Emergency crews were dispatched to scene to give treatment to those who sustained injuries as a result of the collision.
The cause of the accident was not available at the time of the report. A Sig-Alert was ordered to clear the blocked freeway lanes. An investigation is on going to determine the cause of the overturn collision.
