CAMBRIA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA (November 25, 2017) – A small plane crash in Pennsylvania injured Zach Zollinger, along with his sister Mariah and his parents Wayne and Dawn, according to a local news source. (map)
The Zollinger family was en route from Indiana to Pennsylvania on Saturday, when their Piper PA-34 Seneca crashed for an unknown reason in a wooded area near Edensburg. The plane was so badly mangled that those first on scene were surprised that anyone had survived.
Zach sustained a facial injury in the crash. His sister Mariah sustained bumps and bruises, and his parents sustained more serious injuries including broken bones. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
