PATTERSON, CALIFORNIA (September 1, 2017) – A major accident on State Route 33 near Hamilton Road on Friday morning left at least one person with serious injuries, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 5:46 am on State Route 33, east of Hamilton Road. A grey Chevrolet Malibu and a second vehicle were involved in a collision, and a third vehicle then struck the two cars initially involved in the collision.
The accident was classified as a major injury incident by the California Highway Patrol, but the condition of those involved and the number injured is unknown at this time. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
