PASADENA, CALIFORNIA (December 22, 2016) – A semi-truck crashed off the 210 Freeway in Pasadena, landing on the Gold Line train tracks, according to a local news source. (map)
The incident happened around 4:52 am. A big rig traveling on the eastbound side of the 210 Freeway near North San Gabriel Boulevard crashed, careening over the center divider wall and landing on the Gold Line Train Tracks.
Train service was halted as a result of the accident, and there is no word on the condition of the driver of the big rig. An overturned SUV was also seen nearby that may have been related to the incident. The accident remains under investigation.
