PASADENA, CALIFORNIA (April 6, 2017) – A passenger was killed in a collision attributed to DUI on Thursday evening, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 11:45 pm at the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Michigan Avenue. A 22 year old man was driving a 1998 Cadillac heading east on Colorado Boulevard when he lost control and slammed into a light pole.
A front seat passenger was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries, identified only as a man in his 20s from Pasadena. A 22 year old passenger in the back seat suffered broken bones, while the driver, identified as 22 year old Diego Gomez, suffered minor injuries. Diego Gomez was arrested for DUI, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
