PANORAMA CITY, CALIFORNIA (April 5, 2017) – A man was involved in a pit bull attack in the southeast section of Panorama City early Wednesday morning, according to the Panorama City Police Department. (map)
The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. Officers responded to the call of a man that was attacked by a pitbull near the intersection of Ventura Canyon and Roscoe Boulevard, according to to Sgt. Jim Bender of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Division.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find the male victim bitten on his face and the lower extremities of his body. A local news source reported that the owner of the dog may have been involved in the attack. No arrests were made. The pit bull is still missing.
