Eastbound SR-78 Accident East of Vista Village On-Ramp, Sends Injured Person to Hospital
PALOMAR, CA (March 14, 2017) (Map)– An early morning accident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the SR-78 freeway, one mile east of Vista Village eastbound on ramp. One person was injured and had to be sent to Palomar Medical Hospital.
Two other occupants involved apparently escaped injuries. The liability and reason for the accident has not yet been determined. A small Maltese poodle named Sebastian was involved in the crash and bolted from the wreck but could not be located following the incident.
It is not known if drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
