OXFORD, PENNSYLVANIA (January 31, 2017) – A man identified as 54 year old Michael R. Buchanan was killed in a snowmobile accident on Tuesday evening on Quarry Road, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 10:40 pm on Quarry Road. 54 year old Michael R. Buchanan was riding a snowmobile when he lost control for an unknown reason, struck a guardrail on Quarry Road, and was ejected.

Responding medical personnel declared Michael Buchanan dead at the scene as a result of the accident. The accident remains under open investigation to determine what caused the accident.
