Oscar was traveling in a Nissan sedan along with his parents Mario, and Maribel. The sedan was rear ended by a Chevrolet Camaro traveling at a high rate of speed. The impact caused the Nissan to catch fire, and the Davila family was trapped inside.
Sadly, Oscar and his parents perished in the fire. The man driving the Camaro was identified as 26 year old Edgar Verduzco, an LAPD officer suspected of being under the influence at the time of the accident. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability, and members of the Davilo family have set up a GoFundMe account to help with expenses resulting from this tragedy.
“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends affected by this tragic accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved.”
